REGINA – WestJet has announced direct flights from Regina to Winnipeg and more flights to Alberta.
The expansions are part of the company’s WestJet Encore service, a regional division of the airline that offers more local flights.

Jim Hunter, C-E-O of the Regina Airport Authority, says the city’s continued economic success plays a big part in expanding the number of flights.
The new routes are to come into effect in mid-January.
