Keith is familiar with the Vancouver Island sports scene, having spent five years in the CHEK TV Sports department prior to his move to BCTV in 1997 and then back to CHEK News to anchor the evening sportscast.
Originally from St. Albert, Alberta, Keith attended NAIT and the University of Alberta in Edmonton.
In his spare time Keith enjoys travel, computers and sumo wrestling. Yes, sumo wrestling! Keith has been to Japan three times to see sumo. He likes the sport so much in fact, that his all time favorite sports metaphor includes a sumo reference: "the game was closer than sumo wrestlers passing each other in Fan Tan Alley!" …it's a Victoria thing.
Keith has a wide range of interests, his greatest interest though– is in his family. Keith and his wife Patty have two beautiful daughters, and a son.
