There are reports tonight that Glee star Lea Michele visited the hotel where her boyfriend Cory Monteith was found dead last Saturday.
Fans of Monteith have been leaving cards, flowers, and messages to the 31-year-old actor outside the Pacific Rim Hotel, and reports say Michele wanted to see the tributes left for him.
According to a friend of Monteith’s, who spoke to a few publications:
“I saw Lea about an hour after the family saw the body at the hospital. There were two huge SUVs out front and Lea was in the back seat of one, sitting between two bodyguards. She was wearing her signature huge black shades. Lea never got out of the vehicle.”
Reports are making the rounds on Twitter, but there are no photos of Michele outside the hotel.
She has not spoken publicly since Monteith died, other than to release a statement saying she is grieving for him and asking for privacy.
Two candlelight vigils have been planned in B.C. tonight to remember Monteith: one outside the Pacific Rim and one in Victoria.
