The Kelowna, B.C., teen who was reported missing on Aug. 9 has been located safe, police said.
“The Kelowna RCMP is pleased to confirm that the 14-year-old female youth reported missing has been located safe, due to the keen eye of concerned citizens in a neighbouring community,” said Cst. Solana Paré.
Kelowna RCMP say investigators are still interested in speaking with the unidentified man seen with the teen in video surveillance photos.

“Anyone with information on the unidentified man or vehicle is asked to contact police.”
Video surveillance indicates the male is associated to a newer model white Ford Mustang convertible with a black soft top and no front license plate.
Anyone with information on the unidentified man in the photos is asked to call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
