The two-year-old boy who fell out of a two-story window in Maple Ridge last Friday afternoon, died over the weekend in BC Children’s Hospital.

Barb McLintock, with the BC Coroner’s Service, confirmed they have now taken over this investigation. She said the investigation is still in very preliminary stages.
Ridge Meadows RCMP said the accident happened at about 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 12.
The child was airlifted to BC Children’s Hospital.
