KELOWNA — Speed has been ruled out as a factor after a garbage truck overturned in West Kelowna Monday.
The incident happened shortly after 1 p.m. at the roundabout at Louie Drive and Butt Road.

Officials say it would appear the truck hit the curb on the roundabout before it flipped onto its side — landing on the sidewalk.
A small amount of garbage spilled out.
The driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The truck will be inspected for any mechanical problems.
Police say it’s possible the load shifted.
