Trying to get your children to eat their fruits and vegetables can be a real chore.
But an Okanagan couple has come up with a concept that not only helped their daughter understand the importance of eating healthy foods, it has attracted attention from Hollywood stars.
Inspired by their daughter, Kia and Jamie Robertson created “Today I Ate a Rainbow”.
The colour-coded chart helps parents and kids remember to buy and eat the suggested servings of fruits and vegetables every day.
The concept has taken off and has received international attention.
The company has proven so successful that the Robertsons recently went to Hollywood for the Golden Globe Awards to hand out their kits to celebrities like Jewel.
