Mike Drolet

Mike Drolet is one of the Toronto correspondents for Global National, but his job has taken him far from the borders of the Greater Toronto Area.

For more than a decade, Mike has worked in newsrooms across southern Ontario and Quebec. The University of Western Ontario graduate started in London, Ontario before moving to Wingham, Windsor, Montreal and now Toronto.

Mike clearly has the travel bug – he’s followed floods and fires in the far north of Ontario and Quebec, Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath in New Orleans and Canadian soldiers risking their lives on the frontlines in Afghanistan.  He was also one of the first journalists to arrive in Haiti following that country’s devastating earthquake in 2010.
