CALGARY- Another big name concert has been cancelled, due to extensive flood damage at the Saddledome.

Former Disney star Selena Gomez was set to play at the ‘Dome on August 16. However, the major cleanup that’s still required at the facility has forced the cancellation of her performance, and it is being moved to Lethbridge instead.

All tickets purchased online or by phone will automatically be refunded, while tickets purchased from a Ticketmaster outlet can be returned in person. Those who bought tickets from the Saddledome’s box office can get a refund at the Jubilee Auditorium’s box office.

Gomez’s new concert will happen at Lethbridge’s Enmax Centre on Aug. 16. Those who had tickets to the Calgary concert got first grabs at them, while more tickets will go on sale on July 12 at 10 a.m.

Some proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Canadian Red Cross to support Alberta flood relief.
