Suspect sought in Leask, Sask. hotel fire

Police say someone is responsible for a fire that destroyed an almost century old hotel in Leask, Sask. in early February.

They are asking for the public’s help in tracking down the person who caused an explosion which started the fire in the early morning hours of February 9.

Footage from several cameras in the area are being examined by police as they try to locate who is responsible.

The building was built in 1912. It has not been used as a hotel for years, but instead a local pub.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Blaine Lake RCMP at 306-497-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
