Regina police are reminding residents to not park vehicles on city streets for longer than 24 hours at a time.

According to Traffic Bylaw 9900, Section 35, no vehicle can be parked on a city street for over 24 hours except Saturdays and holidays.

During the winter months it becomes even more imperative because parked vehicles can cause problems for snow removal crews.

Vehicles may be seized and towed, and violators are subject to a $50 ticket.
