INGONISH, N.S. – The search is expected to resume today for a Cape Breton boy presumed drowned in Ingonish harbour.
Fourteen-year-old Gregory Hibbs was last seen in the water after a small wooden boat capsized over the weekend.
Police were called to the scene in the early morning hours of Saturday.
They have said the Glace Bay teen was among five young people in the boat at the time.
The four others swam to shore.
RCMP divers have been using sonar technology in hopes of finding the missing boy’s body.
Hibbs attended the Southside Learning Centre in Sydney.
Principal Danielle AuCoin describes Hibbs as a good kid who got along well with others.
