This summer has already seen lots of construction in Regina, and it will not be ending anytime soon.
Pasqua Street is undergoing a makeover from Sherwood Drive to Donahue Avenue. On Sunday crews began by laying asphalt on the busy road.
It is expected construction will take two weeks to compete. Two-way traffic will be restricted to one lane each way on Pasqua Street.
The temporary traffic cones are coming down along the centres of 11th and 12th avenues. They were used for several weeks to remind drivers of the new two-way system on the former one-way streets.
Traffic signals at Albert Street and 13th Avenue are also getting an upgrade. While construction is going on at the intersection, drivers are asked to treat it as a four-way stop.
