Teams getting ready for the 6th annual Plywood Cup were practicing their boat building skills Wednesday.
The event, which takes place July 1, is where teams have limited materials and time to build a boat and race it across Wascana Lake. Money raised going towards the Raise-a-Reader program and the Hospitals of Regina Foundation.
Last year the Plywood Cup raised $60,000.
