One person is dead and two others injured after an explosion and fire at a marina outside Victoria.
Crews were called to the North Saanich Marina for reports of an explosion shortly before 4 p.m. on Sunday, B.C. Emergency Health Services said.
A bystander told Global News he heard an explosion and saw at least two power boats and the marina’s fuel dock consumed by flames.

Six ambulances were sent to the area, along with fire crews, police and the coast guard.
The BC Coroners Service confirmed they are investigating one death, while the BC Ambulance Service said the two people taken to hospital received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
