GRAND FORKS, BC — The ranch has been there for years and the residents of Grand Forks have come to label it as the place where horses come before being shipped to the slaughter house. After holding their silence, some of those residents have decided to speak up — demanding the owner pack up his operation and leave town. But the owner insist he’s not in the horse-slaughtering business. He says he’s just trying to give rescued horses a second chance. Kelly Hayes reports (Warning: Some images might be disturbing)
