CALGARY- A hotel in Canmore had to be evacuated on Wednesday afternoon, after a suspicious package was discovered.
RCMP were called by the Chateau Canmore around 1:30 p.m. and evacuated the immediate area.

They are conducting a forensic search of the area to determine if there is a threat, and the RCMP’s explosive disposal unit is also on scene.
RCMP say they take such calls seriously.
