SASKATOON – Environment Canada has ended tornado warnings in southern Saskatchewan.

A combination of low pressure, moist unstable air and daytime heat could trigger strong thunderstorms and possible funnel clouds in the province today.

Conditions are favourable for the development of funnel clouds or weak tornadoes in certain areas of the province, according to Environment Canada.

All funnel clouds can become destructive rapidly and if one develops nearby take shelter until it dissipates.
