CALGARY- Despite the massive flooding that has crippled the city, property taxes are still due on Friday.
Assessments went out months ago, and bills were mailed out earlier this month.
Payment is due on June 28th, otherwise homeowners will face penalties over 7 per cent of the bill.
Some residents have been concerned that they are unable to pay them as a number of city offices are shut down. However, Mayor Naheed Nenshi announced on Tuesday that bills can be paid at banks or at a number of civic stations around the city.
