“This flight fills a hole that was in our schedule previously, that there just isn’t enough demand to put another jet in, so the couponer can fill out our schedule and now we got more time-a-day coverage for everybody from Saskatchewan,” said WestJet President Gregg Saretsky.

The new aircraft holds 78 passengers and the flight time is an hour and 25 minutes both to and from Calgary.

WestJet operates five daily flights to Calgary from Saskatoon, one with the new Q400.
