Blue Bombers vice-president and COO Jim Bell joined us on the Morning News to talk about the Bombers’ latest traffic/transportation plan.
The football club is working with Winnipeg Transit to get fans to the stadium faster. They are still working on their plans for Thursday’s regular-season opener and are promising updates on their website. Their plans do include opening the stadium parking lot earlier and possibly adding another park-and-ride depot in the city.
Bell has high hopes for the new stadium. In the Elevator, we asked him about the new stadium and asked him to pick his favorite child (as it were).
