MONTREAL – Just hours after beginning its deliberations, the jury in the Adele Sorella murder trial sent a question to the judge.
The note asked Superior Court Justice Carol Cohen to confirm whether the possibility that Sorella’s two daughters died by accident had been excluded during the trial.
The jury also noted that it has excluded the possibility that the girls died of natural causes.
The judge told the jury it should never reveal what it is thinking during its deliberations, as doing so is a Criminal Code offence.
