Calgary couple finds true love on transit

CALGARY – One Calgary couple will celebrate an extra special Valentine’s Day this year aboard Calgary Transit’s “Love Train”.

Councillor Druh Farrell will officially announce the winning couple of Transit’s best love story contest at noon.

For the past month, Calgary Transit has asked for couple’s to submit their story about how they found love on transit. The city says many of its customers have found their significant others while riding the C-Train or bus.

The “Love Train” is a specially decorated C-Train car; the winning couple will share their story while being serenaded by a violinist as they travel around the city.

The couple will receive a free monthly transit pass and a Valentine’s Day treat.
