30-year-old Andrew Waunch was also wanted in the case, and was taken into custody on June 10 after a police pursuit in which several shots were fired at RCMP vehicles. His arrest came shortly after a carjacking at a trailer park.

RCMP say that Chambers turned herself in to the Airdrie RCMP detachment on Sunday. She had been on the run for nearly two weeks.

Chambers made her first court appearance on Tuesday morning.
