A girl was killed Sunday after being hit by a train on a set of tracks near Brandon, RCMP said.
Officers were dispatched to an undisclosed railway area at approximately 9:30 a.m. where they found the body of a female youth along the tracks.

An investigation determined she lived in the Brandon area. Her identity was not released.
