CALGARY – A construction worker is recovering in hospital following a serious fall early Saturday morning.
EMS say they responded to a call at a construction site at Crowchild Trail and 53 Street Northwest at about 7:30 a.m.

They say a man in his forties fell from about 12 metres from some scaffolding.
Paramedics rushed the man to Foothills Hopsital in serious but stable condition.
Occupational Health and Safety is now investigating the incident.
