TORONTO – The Major Collisions Bureau is investigating two separate automobile accidents in the Greater Toronto Area that left several people dead Friday, including a teenage girl and young child.
At around 9:30 p.m., two vehicles collided near Highway 50 and Fogal Road.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene. A young child was rushed to a local hospital, where they later died.
Another child was airlifted to the trauma centre at Sick Kids hospital following the collision, and remains in life-threatening condition.
Two other people involved in the accident were also taken to the hospital.
Constable Fiona Thiverage says that the two children were under the age of 10.

Thiverage says the Scene will remain closed for some time due to the investigation.

This follows another tragic accident In Mississauga Thursday night.
A 13-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle on the Havenwood and Bloor Street area in Mississauga.
She was transported to Trillium Hospital with life-threatening injuries, where she later died.
The driver remained at the scene, but was later taken to the hospital.
Witnesses of either crash are urged to contact The Major Collisions Bureau with any information.
