Abattoir recalls pate, liverwurst over mustard not listed on labels

ANTIGONISH, N.S. – Officials with a Nova Scotia company are issuing a recall of several of their meat products.

Antigonish Abattoir Ltd. are recalling fine herb liverwurst, black pepper liverwurst and some pates sold under the Tony’s Meat brand banner.

They say the products may contain mustard and it’s not listed on the labels.

They say that could cause a serious reaction in people who are allergic to mustard.

The products are sold in all of the Atlantic provinces, but there haven’t been any reports of illnesses linked to them.
