CB man charged with murder, two more arrested after fisherman vanishes

PETIT-DE-GRAT, N.S. – RCMP have made two more arrests in connection with the disappearance of a 43-year-old man in the waters of a Cape Breton harbour last weekend.

Police say they arrested a 65-year-old man in Little Anse and a 43-year-old man in Arichat earlier today after Phillip Boudreau went missing.

Both were in custody, but no charges have been laid.

The Mounties have charged another man, 40-year-old Craig Landry of Petit-de-Grat, with second-degree murder in Boudreau’s death.

His body has not been recovered.

The Petit-de-Grat man was last seen last Saturday around 6 a.m.

Officers allege there was a confrontation involving two boats following the discovery of an overturned vessel in the mouth of the harbour.
