CALGARY – Police have issued warrants for a woman wanted in connection with a cellphone scam targeting local seniors.
It’s alleged the woman befriended three seniors living in the same building as her, duping them into letting her buy cellphones and plans using their identities.

Police suggest she would then take the phones and resell them to unsuspecting buyers.
40-year-old Violet Banh is charged with six counts of fraud under $5,000.

Banh is described as 5’4” tall, 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Police say she also goes by the name Vicky Chan.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call police.
