Police say one person is dead after a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday morning in western Saskatchewan.
The crash happened at around 7 a.m. roughly eight kilometres south of Lloydminster on Highway 17, Maidstone RCMP said.
An eastbound half-ton GMC truck collided with a southbound five-ton commercial box truck, according to police.

The driver of the GMC truck was taken by paramedics to hospital in Lloydminster.
The 21-year-old man was then flown by STARS air ambulance to a Saskatoon hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released by police.
Police said the driver of the five-ton truck was not injured.
The highway was closed for several hours while police carried out their investigation.
Police said no charges are pending in the fatal crash.
