SYDNEY, N.S. – The federal ethics commissioner is investigating a case involving the CEO of Enterprise Cape Breton Corp.
Jocelyne Brisebois, spokeswoman for the office of ethics commissioner Mary Dawson, confirmed Tuesday that the office is conducting an investigation in relation to John Lynn.
She wouldn’t provide details, citing confidentiality.
Lynn says the process is confidential, but he did confirm that he was contacted by the ethics commissioner’s office.
As well, Lynn says his is “absolutely comfortable” with his conduct.
Lynn, who was named CEO of the corporation in 2008, had previously been a long-serving executive with Sobeys Inc. and was president and CEO of the Central Group of Companies.
