TORONTO – Former Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien has successfully learned to wakeboard, and you can watch him in all his swim-trunks-over-wetsuit glory.
In a video uploaded to YouTube May 27, the opening chords of David Bowie’s “Rebel, Rebel” ring out as 79-year-old Chretien appears, riding the waves with a smile.

Cheers of “There you go” and “That’s it” can be heard in the background, presumably from Captain and instructor Ty Luckett of www.kitehatteras.net in Buxton, North Carolina, whose name and website appear at the end of the video.
