Search for missing Vanderhoof woman continues two years after her disappearance

Family and friends of a missing Vanderhoof woman are hoping they’ll turn up some sign of Madison Scott today.

They are spending the day searching around the area where Scott vanished nearly two years ago.

She disappeared at Hogsback Lake about 25 kilometres south-east of Vanderhoof on May 28, 2011.

She went to a party and was last seen around three in the morning.

Her truck and tent were found at the lake, but despite an extensive search, no other trace of Scott ever turned up.

She’s 5’4, weighs 170 pounds and has red hair.
