KELOWNA, BC – The BC River Forecast Centre has ended the flood watch and high stream advisory for much of the Okanagan region.
In the Thompson, this includes the Salmon, Shuswap and Eagle Rivers between Kamloops and Vernon.

In the Okanagan, the advisory has ended for Mission Creek.
For the Boundary Region, the Kettle and Granby Rivers are no longer a threat.
Rainfall that caused most rivers to reach peak levels Thursday has eased heading into the weekend.

River levels are now receding, according to the BC River Forecast Centre and no significant rain is forecast for the weekend.
The community of Lake Country has re-opened playing fields that were closed because of extreme rain.
