Quebec stagehand Denis Blanchette was shot at an election-night victory party for the Parti Quebecois on September 4, 2012.

MONTREAL – Tokens, momentos, flowers, photos, notes and candles have all been left at the back entrance of Club Metropolis in remembrance of Denis Blanchette, the lighting technician tragically killed in the election-night shooting on Tuesday, September 4, 2012.

His brave actions that night will be officially honoured with a civic funeral.
