The car was headed east on the Trans-Canada Highway when it collided with the semi, which was travelling north on Highway 305 and about to head west on the Trans-Canada, RCMP said.

The 25-year-old South Norfolk man who was driving the semi was uninjured.

Police are still investigating the crash but charges are not contemplated, police said.

The highway was closed until shortly before 3 p.m.
