Police said they were called to the 1700-block of 152 Street around 3 a.m, where they found a man suffering from “grievous” stab wounds.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

IHIT says it is still early in the investigation, with a motive for the stabbing still to be determined.

“We are releasing the name of our murdered victim in an effort to determine his activities prior to his death,” Sgt. Frank Jang of IHIT said in a statement released Friday evening.

“We need Delphin Prestbakmo’s closest friends and associates to come forward. We also urge any witnesses who were in the area of the 1700-block of 152 Street to contact us. Right now, we believe there may be others that were involved in this altercation, and that’s why its so crucial for those with information about what happened to please come forward.”
