York Regional Police say a 17-year-old girl from Markham reported missing has been found safe.
Police say the teen was last seen on Sunday, shortly after noon, walking alone from a plaza near Cornell Park and Bur Oak avenues.
“We have her on video surveillance there. She was walking in that area, attended the plaza and then walked away. And that’s the last we saw of her,” said Const. Andy Pattenden.

Police said they, along with family members, were growing concerned for her well-being.
However, police said in an update Thursday afternoon that she was found in “good health.”
