TORONTO — Some passengers get “So Emotional.”
An American Airlines flight from Los Angeles to New York was forced to make an emergency landing in Kansas City when a female passenger refused to stop singing Whitney Houston songs.
“The woman was being disruptive and was removed from the plane for interfering with the flight crew,” airport spokesman Joe McBride told KCTV on Friday. “There was a federal air marshal on the aircraft, who subdued the woman and put her in cuffs and removed her from the plane.”

Another passenger recorded the woman being escorted off the plane while belting out a wobbly rendition of Houston’s biggest hit, “I Will Always Love You.”
The unidentified Whitney wannabe was interviewed and released without charges.
