A body discovered on a trail in the Colony Farm area of Coquitlam on Monday has been identified as 44-year-old Clifford Arthur Devitt of Maple Ridge.

“Our investigators can reveal that Mr. Devitt was a transient person who mostly frequented the areas of Maple Ridge, Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam. A bicycle which investigators believe belongs to Mr. Devitt was also found near his body. Coquitlam RCMP were called out at about 4 p.m. and determined Devitt likely met with foul play.
