PENTICTON, BC – A 21-year-old Penticton man charged with murder is out on bail, again.
Jamie Wolanski was charged in the stabbing death of 16-year-old Andrew McAdam in 2011.
Out on bail awaiting trial, Wolanski has repeatedly had run-ins with police, frustrating friends of the victim.
“I don’t think any of us could believe or comprehend why this kid is being let out again,” says Caleena Verecki, who says whenever Wolanski is let out on bail, it’s a slap in the face to McAdam’s family.

The family can’t speak to the media due to a court order.
Wolanski has been repeatedly arrested since the alleged murder for allegedly possessing marijuana, crystal meth and breaching his curfew.
He was sentenced to 30 days last June after pleading guilty to assaulting a police officer in connection with a party at his home in February 2011.
After serving time for the bail breaches and drug possession, Wolanski was released again on bail last week, after posting a $25,000 bond.
Verecki believes the justice system has let the family and public down.
The judge has imposed house arrest until his murder trial in August.
Wolanski is accused of stabbing McAdam in the chest at a grad party in a rural area of Penticton in June 2011. He has been charged with second degree murder.
An annual memorial walk for McAdam will take place June 17th in Penticton.
