CALGARY – One person has died following a car crash near Langdon, Monday morning.
The crash between a semi-trailer and a van happened on around 6:30 a.m. on Highway 22x and Highway 797, south of Langdon.

RCMP say a southbound Ford Focus was traveling on Highway 797 when it appears it failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection with Highway 22x.
The Ford was struck by a westbound semi-trailer, killing the 50-year-old driver.
The driver of the semi-trailer and his passenger were uninjured, but shaken.
Langdon is located about 35 km east of Calgary.
