CALGARY — Tinder dry conditions prompted the Calgary Fire Department to declare a fire ban late Saturday night.
Officials say with continuing dry conditions, including low humidity levels, there is an extreme risk of a fire.

The level-three fire ban was declared at 10:00 p.m. Saturday and includes all open flames with the exception of internal household fireplaces and propane and natural gas fuel barbecues.
The city says Calgarians should use caution when using anything that could start a fire.
