Monrovia rubber plantation

As part of the Shaw Africa Project, Barry Acton of Global National and Laurel Clark of Global Edmonton visit the Firestone Rubber Plantation, near Monrovia Liberia. In 2009, Liberian journalist Charles Yates pursued a story about pollution at the plantation, which was causing skin diseases and at least two deaths. Acton and Clark travelled to the plantation with Power TV reporter Henry Sumo and his cameraman Issac Freeman to check in on the progress that has been made cleaning up the pollution.
