Case of missing Richmond man now a homicide investigation

Homicide investigators have now taken over the case of a missing Richmond man.

45-year-old Kiem Cuong Steven Yip has not been seen or heard from since April 20, 2013.

RCMP say they have received information suggesting his disappearance is suspicious and that he may have met with foul play. However, police will not say why it is suspicious.

Yip is described as 45 years old, 5’6”, 130 lbs, slim build with brown eyes and short dark hair.

His vehicle is also missing. It is described as a grey 2003 Toyota Corolla 4 door sedan with BC licence plate 712 TTH.
