WHITBY, Ont. – Police say a woman who runs a daycare in Whitby, Ont., has been charged with criminal negligence after a child in her care was allegedly sexually assaulted last year.
Durham Regional Police say the alleged assault happened at a home daycare between February and June of 2018.
Investigators say a relative of the woman who ran the daycare allegedly victimized a girl who was four years old at the time.
