Kelowna celebrates National Indigenous Peoples Day

National Indigenous Peoples Day – Jun 21, 2019

Kelowna and Central Okanagan residents gathered in downtown Kelowna on Friday to celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day alongside members of the Okanagan’s indigenous population.

Parts of the celebration included a mini pow-wow, children’s activities, a traditional feast and special programming at the Okanagan Heritage Museum.
