Watch: Justin Bieber attacked on stage

TORONTO — Justin Bieber was attacked on stage Saturday during a concert in Dubai.

The Canadian pop star was performing at a piano when a male rushed on stage and grabbed him from behind.

Bieber, 19, stepped away and kept singing while a members of the security team tackled the suspect and dragged him off the stage.

In the melee, the piano fell off a platform.

“Dubai. Nothing stops the show,” Bieber later tweeted.

He took a short break and then resumed the show.

Bieber’s Toronto-based musical director Dan Kanter tweeted: “Everyone is fine. No need to worry!”

The London, Ont.-born singer returns to Canada in late July for concerts in Ottawa and Toronto.
