RCMP investigate homicide after teen, woman found dead near Chase

Chase RCMP are investigating a homicide after finding a teenager and a woman dead in an Anglemont, B.C. home.

Mounties were called to a home, located about 45 minutes east of Chase, at around 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday where they found a 15-year-old boy and a 45-year-old woman deceased.

Const. Lesley Smith said in a statement that police are investigating a homicide.

“The crime scene has been isolated to the residence and therefore the public is not believed to be at risk,” Smith said.

Few details are known at this time and the names of the deceased are not being released out of respect for the family.
